I photographed this Whitetail doe within the boundaries of a state park. Seeing hunting is not allowed within the park, the deer are much less cautious in how they react to humans. I just snapped the image from my vehicle. Lucky me, lucky deer. V-Lux4

Lovely shot, Bill. And I like the way you processed it a lot. The deer anywhere one goes in this state are extremely wary--for good reason. When they see or smell a human, their white tail goes up and they go bounding off. It's pretty much that way with all wildlife in Wisconsin. If it moves, you can get a license to shoot it.

Thank you everyone. As Brent mentioned,I think the processing really made the image work.

The state park is a safe haven for deer, bear, mountain lion and mountain goat in my area. Lazy hunters watch from just outside the property line in hopes of an animal crossing onto open public lands. In my opinion that's not sportsmanship. Times have changed from when one depended on their woodsman skills.
