I live in a section of the city with a large concentration of artists and this is the result--poetry embedded right into the sidewalks. There is a poem in the concrete on every block for an eight block stretch. MM/28

This is another one that I photographed a few months ago. It's called "Angela's Cello," and is written about my next door neighbor who is a very accomplished cellist. The author is a longtime friend who died nine years ago from complications of alcohol abuse.
