Very nice. My favorite roof there is in a deep yellow, and in a mix of deep yellow (Barbara & Stu's Excellent Vacations) and magenta (Barbara & Stu's Excellent Vacations).

A fine series with great colors. I used Fuji Velvia 50 for years before they discontinued it. I always thought it was a tad saturated but the colors were faithful.

Here is an extract from a book, of this famous red color

 

"In ancient China, an animal called "nian 年", devouring each year a number of people to the approach of spring. This animal was afraid of red, and each person was lucky not to get eaten. So, every Chinese has the approach of the New Year decorate their homes in red and of course the red became the color of "happiness" and "luck" .

This is how the red color appears as positive color throughout Asia "

Here are the details of the structure and decoration of the roof of this imperial city

 

"The center of the roof is decorated with two dragons greeting the moon; at both ends and four corners, these dragons have heads turned backwards.

All these dragons and advanced roof are decorated with colorful pottery shards. The roof is yellow glazed tiles"
