Jhlo5588 Posted October 7, 2014 Share #1 Posted October 7, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) Is it me or is there a 1 second or so delay between shots. I save using raw and jpg. Jpg at 7mp as its only for viewing on iPad. The delay is a bit unbearable. I wish Leica allow the option to save raw to sd and jpg to camera etc to speed up the save. If I change to jpg only then the delay is much less.
Advertisement Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 Hi Jhlo5588, Take a look here Delay between shots.. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
thighslapper Posted October 7, 2014 Share #2 Posted October 7, 2014 If you half depress the shutter immediately after a shot it clears the review and you can take another straight away ...... there is virtually no delay.....
Jhlo5588 Posted October 7, 2014 Author Share #3 Posted October 7, 2014 Hi thanks for the reply. I tried that and it does improve but there is still a small delay in which camera and shutter were unresponsive. I did turn off the auto review. I am not sure why Leica did not allow users to turn it completely off. Many people would not want to review the pictures while taking the shots. tntrue Posted October 8, 2014 Share #4 Posted October 8, 2014 The delay is especially bothersome when photographing a moving subject with a telephoto lens. If the subject moves out of the EVF's field of view during the momentary display of the previous shot, it has to be found again before another shot can be taken. Even with the updated firmware providing an "off" option for review, there doesn't seem to be much difference in the length of time the image is displayed in the viewfinder. Half-depressing the shutter button, as suggested in a previous post, does not clear the shot on my T.
