Advertisement Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Hi erudolph, Take a look here Lightroom Lens Profile for 24mm Elmarit?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
DMJ Posted September 2, 2014 Share #2 Â Posted September 2, 2014 Yes I noticed that it disappeared in the recent LR update. Had been coding my Zeiss ZM 25mm/2.8 as the Leica 24mm. Hope you find a profile for your lens.
tobey bilek Posted September 2, 2014 Share #3 Â Posted September 2, 2014 Can you not make a pic of a structure , correct curvature and vignetting and save as a preset?
erudolph Posted September 2, 2014 Author Share #4 Â Posted September 2, 2014 Hi Toby.... I think the way to do it would be to use Adobe Lens Profile Creator, which I downloaded, but the procedure is slightly daunting: print a large test chart, round up an easel and two lights (I actually don't own any lights) take multiple views of the test chart, bring them into the Adobe app, and I suspect it will make you a fine profile. I am mostly interested in distortion correction, hopefully beyond that found in the LightRoom app itself.
