Hey guys, maybe nice to revive the R series a bit, and I don't mean R lenses on M bodies or other digital hocuspocus. Except maybe the DM-R...

This thread serves to post images taken with a Leica R camera, and Leica R Prime or zoom lenses.

Please while posting tell us the the camera model, lens and film. Or as much as you know so others can learn about the combinations that have made it possible for you to take the photo.

Here is a example.

#1 Leica R8 - Kodak Gold 200 - Summilux-R 1:1,4/80mm

Two from my R9 / DMR combination

The first 'The Madonna of the Coke Cans' looks at first glance as if I should have photoshopped the background but is an image of a young girl begging at the doorway of Sacré Coeur in Paris against a sack full of Seven Up and soft drinks cans. I left the can in for relevance and the sense of an interrupted serenity. Lens is 90AA ROM.

Mop Head

When I had my first R8 I loaded with a roll of Agfa Vista Plus 200 (£1 a roll!) but then found that the meter on the camera was broken :( Rather than waste more money getting the film developed under C41, I did it myself in Rodinal, and when converted to B&W in LR this was the result. Got my money back for the camera though :D
