I saw your picture scaned by Leica M8. It’s wonderful. Can 10.3 MP sensor really do that good?
I got a deal in ebay with 225euro for like new Leica Beoon. Should i try?

I thought I’d share this experience as it is M8-related…   This weekend I loaded Ilford FP4 Plus in my IIIc + Summicron and walked down to the riverfront to try out this film. I used a light yello

Only you can decide if you buy or not the Beoon.

Those old "things" are unique only if one can make good use of it.

They become quite scarse and scarcer over years.

I've bought mine so long ago (I think the good price by then as I've never  been rich), I forgot the price = good thing as we say "quality remains, while price forgotten" (or something like that).

 

Don't forget that the original slides or negatives are the most important when scanned.

Mediocre originals would stay mediocre even scanned with the best scanner of 200 M pixels (if exist ) 😉.
