fotografr Posted July 17, 2014 Share #1 Posted July 17, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) The Purple Coneflowers have started popping up in our garden, which seems a bit earlier than in past years. Late this evening there was some nice light on them as the sun was setting. DLux6 Welcome, dear visitor! fotografr Posted July 17, 2014 Author Share #4 Posted July 17, 2014 There was nice light this morning, so I decided to shoot the same flowers for a comparison of morning and evening light. Personally, I prefer the morning light in this situation. Welcome, dear visitor! pauledell Posted July 18, 2014 Share #8 Posted July 18, 2014 Brent, I think the morning version has a little more definition with the lighting. I prefer it too. Paul
Northwest Wanderer Posted July 18, 2014 Share #9 Posted July 18, 2014 Brent, You really captured the beauty of the coneflower. The colors are right on.
Iduna Posted July 18, 2014 Share #10 Posted July 18, 2014 Brent, all are fine pictures and I find it difficult to find a fasvourite. Both light situations are nice and with its different quality the subject is changing its emphasis. The armer morning light is inviting whereas the coler light makes it a bit more distant as the day is preparing to vanish.
