Few weeks ago I went to Aspen for a week, I took some quickly picture and here's my work:

Leica 35mm f1.4 asph (fle) with Yellow Filter (B+W).

Edited: LR5,Silver Efex.

Prefer the first of the two but some of the drama of the landscape in the second seems lost to me through too much contrast (?)

A very lovely and dramatic pair with your treatment of the sky, the fine tones add to the drama.

dramatic indeed are both pictures. I like the first one more because of its balanced toning and details. The second has enough drama and potential but there is probably too much brightness in the water surface. If possible you can try to reduce luminance there. Thanks for sharing the wonderful location.
