Hanoi viewed through Leica M

I'd like to show you another part of Vietnam, a fish market in Thanh Hoa province, 170km south of Hanoi.

In this market, people have to wake up in early morning, about 4am to wait for fishing boats coming home.
The wage is pretty low, about $3/day or let say $80/month, very tough lives.
Give me your thought, all comments appreciated.

Thanks,
Trung

Hello I am back again.

In  Post 11 and Post 25, I've shown you some photos about Van Chuong residential neighbourhood, one of many old apartments area remained from era of Soviet Union. Hanoi city wants to renovate them, for sure, but it will be a long story. Very few of them have been transformed to modern building and vast majority are still waiting. This time, I brought the Rolleiflex 3.5F with me, in hope to find new point of views.

Hello again,

I think some color photos would be better after long pages dedicated to b/w.

As many of you may have aware that motorbike has become a "culture" in Vietnam, despite that now we are suffering the side effects that it has brought. In photos below, you can see that many people use motorbikes as their tool for earning a living. We call in motorbike taxi or "Xe ôm" in Vietnamese. I am pretty sure that many Western folks who came to Vietnam already knew this word.

Continue with Colors, this time Fuji 160NS loaded in Rolleiflex 3.5F

It is really too hot in Hanoi this summer. As you can see that people had to well protect themselves the the heat and sunshine.

Noticed it was pouring rain in one of your photos. What's your tip for keeping your gear dry?

Yes it was raining when I took that picture. However I stood under a veranda. I normally don't take photos directly under the rain.
