A miller Posted June 24, 2014 Author Share #4 Posted June 24, 2014 Many thanks, Tom and Newnew. Much appreciated. Tom - I used the 28mm summaron, which is a tiny pancake-like screw mount lens with f5.6 as the widest aperture. It's a bit overwhelmingly contrasty, which doesn't work so great on stark sunny days, but works quite interestingly on other days
pauledell Posted June 24, 2014 Share #5 Posted June 24, 2014 Adam, A great shot with the perspective, tones and sharpness. Your lens works well in this picture. Paul

A miller Posted June 25, 2014 Author Share #8 Posted June 25, 2014 Great photo and lovely textures but I'm quite drawn to the wall. Yeah, isn't it a great wall?! It's the famous Federal Reserve building; one of my favorite walls in NYC; great scale, tones and texture....
Leica Fanatic Posted June 25, 2014 Share #9 Posted June 25, 2014 Yeah, isn't it a great wall?! It's the famous Federal Reserve building; one of my favorite walls in NYC; great scale, tones and texture.... Yes it's impressive, as though it was an ancient monument carved from blocks of sandstone by the Egyptians, or Starfleet Headquarters.
