Several years ago I tested the Zuiko 4 cm. for a day at a Hong Kong dealer, when I was looking for a 40mm lens for my M8 and Bessa R ltm. Sorry , no photos left.

As far as I remember, the Zuiko was offered at that time for about Us$900.00, the dealer claimed that the lens was very rare.

I decided to get a Rollei Sonnar 2.8/40 instead for about the same money, along with Rollei RF.

The Rollei 40/2.8 Sonnar HFT in LTM is an excellent lens with the classic Sonnar dreamy out of focus areas but sharp in the centre wide open. I can't compare it with the Zuiko because I haven't used one.

Pete.

I think I found the English word : the Zuiko was boring.
