So far IIRC, no-one seems to have mentioned that Leica don't produce a 52mm UV filter for the T. Both initial lenses take the same size - fortunately.

 

Is this a glaring omission?

 

(PS Just like they didn't do a 43mm for the XVario.)

Polarizers are still useful and can't be exactly duplicated in post-processing.

Some still like to use a UV filter for "protection".

Many might want a ND filter to allow the use of f2 in bright light for limiting DOF.

Otherwise at the lowest 125 ISO and a top speed of 4000, I believe you would be shooting at 2.8 rather than 2.0.

They are rebranded B&W filters as far as I am aware, and the IR filters probably Marumi.

In the past they made loads of different filters themselves, including a rather nice graduated yellow filter.

I should have written make instead of sell.:(. Although I cannot recall seeing one in any shop...Top dealers probably stock them.
