juju01 Posted May 27, 2014 Share #1 Â Posted May 27, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) An elderly neighbor of mine just mentioned to me he has a box full of old pentax screw mount lenses. I am not sure what specifically he has, however, wondering if anyone has used any pentax screw mount lens on the M240? Which lens, which adapter and what were the results? Any gems to looks for ? TomB_tx Posted May 27, 2014 Share #2 Â Posted May 27, 2014 Some of the M42 Takumar lenses can give good results even on digital. I haven't seen results on the M, but have seen a number tried on the Sony A7. These lenses were quite well made for the time, with nice tactile feel when using. luigi bertolotti Posted May 27, 2014 Share #3  Posted May 27, 2014 Adapter for M42x1 (Pentax) on M are easy to find and not costly.. they can come from Russia.... Adapter ring M42 to Leica M mount  from China (Kipon) and from Novoflex, always a respectable brand  - - LEM/CO  apart Pentax lenses, one of the most interesting M 42x1 lenses is the Flektogon 20mm f4 made by Zeiss/DDR for Praktica and others (redesigned to f 2,8 an named as "Prakticar" later on)
