X-Challenge Gegensätze/ Contrasts

Hallo Leica X-Kamerabesitzer des L-Camera-Forums!

Dear Leica X-camera owners of the L-Camera-Forum!

 

Als regelmäßiger D-Lux-/ Digilux-Challenge-Teilnehmer sehe ich mir auch immer die anderen Wettbewerbe hier im Forum an. Doch der X1-Challenge ist aus mir nicht erfindlichen Gründen eingeschlafen. Da die Leica X-Kameraserie (X1, X2, X Vario) mittlerweile viele Anhänger gefunden hat und im nationalen wie internationalen Forum fleißig gepostet wird, möchte ich gerne nach Rücksprache mit dem Admin eine Wiederbelebung des X-Challenge versuchen. Ich hoffe auf viele aktive Mitstreiter.

Für die „Reanimation“ werden im Wesentlichen die Regeln des D-Lux-/ Digilux-Challenge adaptiert übernommen. Das bedeutet:

- Zu erst wird das Thema angekündigt und es gibt einen definierten Zeitraum für das individuelle Brainstorming.

- Daraufhin folgt ein festgelegter Fotografierzeitraum. Bilder aus dem Archiv sind nicht erlaubt.

- In einem folgenden Hochladezeitfenster werden die Bilder in den entsprechenden Thread hochgeladen mit Angabe des Typs der Leica X-Kamera.

- Nun kommt es zur Abstimmung, bei der jeder Forent das beste Bild mit drei Punkten bewertet, das zweitbeste mit zwei Punkten und das drittbeste mit einem Punkt.

-Abgeschlossen wird jede Wettbewerbsperiode mit der Bekanntgabe der Siegerin/ des Siegers.

 

Die Siegerin/ der Sieger hat die Ehre die nächste Episode zu organisieren und das neue Wettbewerbsthema vorzugeben.

Wichtig ist, dass ausschließlich Bilder teilnehmen dürfen, die mit einer Leica X-Kamera aufgenommen wurden. Leica C, D, M, S und T sowie alle anderen Kameras sind ausgeschlossen.

Pro Teilnehmer dürfen drei Bilder hochgeladen werden.

Ich erlaube mir den ersten X-Challenge nach der dreijährigen Pause zu organisieren.

 

Der neue X-Challenge beginnt am 17. Mai.

Das Thema lautet „GEGENSÄTZE“.

Gedankenphase: 17. - 22.Mai

Fotografieren: 23. Mai – 8. Juni

Fotos hochladen: 9. - 15. Juni

Abstimmung: 16. - 22. Juni

As a regular D-Lux-/ Digilux-Challenge-participant I’m also looking for other competitions presented in the forum. Unfortunately the X1-Challenge is not conducted anymore. Still, the Leica X series (X1, X2, X Vario) is becoming more and more popular in the national and international context. I would like to bring the X-Challenge, in consultation with the admin, back to live and I’m hoping for many active participants. To bring the X-Challenge back to live the basic rules of the D-Lux-/ Digilux-Challenge will be adapted. This means:

 

• At first the topic will be announced and there is a given timeframe for individual brainstorming
  
• This is followed by a given timeframe for taking the photographies. It is not allowed to use photographies from the archive.
  
• After that the photography has to be uploaded with an indication of the Leica X-camera type.
  
• All members of the forum can now vote for their three best photographies (3 points for the best, 2 points for the second best and 1 point for the third best)
  
• Finally the winner will be announced.
  

 

The winner has the honor to organize the next episode and to specify the topic of the next competition.

It is important to only send in photographies taken with a Leica X-Camera. Photographies taken with cameras as Leica C, D, M, S and T, as well as any other cameras are excluded. Every participant can upload three pictures.

As a start, I will organize the first X-Challenge after a break of 3 years.

 

The beginning of the new X-Challenge will be at 17th of May.

The theme called “CONTRASTS” (but not “Extremes”.

Brainstorming: 17th May – 22th May

Taking pictures: 23th May – 8th June

Picture upload: 9th June – 15th June

Voting: 16th June – 22th June

I am wondering if the Leica T shouldn't be a possible participant of this challenge, because lenswise and sencorwise it is the same thing, isn't it?

Hi Eckart!

 

In the moment lenswise and sensorwise there is nearly the same condition. But I think in the near future there are much more possibilities by the T-series to connect extreme wideangel, tele or macro lenses. In this case there are not the same conditions against the fixed lenses (24 mm or 18-46 mm) of the X-series.
