An artist with a trust fund (no squalid garret for him) built an art studio here in the 1920s, beginning an artist colony. I only want to visit hotels that re much nicer than my home! This used to be the Hotel Missoni in Edinburgh and it was superb - modern luxury, recently they lost their agreement with Missoni and has been renamed the G&V possibly for George and Victoria, possibly to subliminally read as G&T or possibly to appeal to the pink market?
