Iduna Posted May 8, 2014 Share #1 Posted May 8, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) this little lower I discovered in a bylane where people have nice gardens and foregardens. This lower did unfold its beauty simply down at the pavement at the fence. If the blossom at the right side is disturbing one can remove it easily. Let me know. Advertisement Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Hi Iduna, Take a look here pink bell in a bylane. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
pauledell Posted May 8, 2014 Share #2 Posted May 8, 2014 Iduna, Gorgeous soft lighting and colors, sharpness with lovely bokeh in the background and the composition. This reminds me of a dainty pink ballerina bowing before her audience. Paul
euston Posted May 8, 2014 Share #3 Posted May 8, 2014 We call this Granny's Bonnet or Columbine. You've photographed it beautifully, Iduna. The delicate colours are just perfect. I don't mind the flower on the right. It brings an informality to the composition which suits the subject, I think.
Iduna Posted May 9, 2014 Author Share #4 Posted May 9, 2014 Paul, your comparison with a ballerina is very nice. Yes, the color is that of those silky shoes with ribbons and the style of the costume. Thanks for this response which once again indicates that imagination is infathomable. Euston, thanks a lot for your information about the name and your nice review and feedback. This is always helpful and your argument about "informality" is quite interesting and this will be subject to enhance the sensitivity.
Hank Taylor Posted May 9, 2014 Share #5 Posted May 9, 2014 Iduna, your flower shots are exquisite I especially like this one with such delicate pick colors. Hank
stuny Posted May 9, 2014 Share #6 Posted May 9, 2014 Quite lovely. I think the shot would be stronger with the blossom on the right cloned out.
Iduna Posted May 9, 2014 Author Share #7 Posted May 9, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hank, thanks you for your time and nice comment. Stuart, I also think so and will try this "operation".
fotografr Posted May 9, 2014 Share #8 Posted May 9, 2014 I agree with Stuart. The flower that is your subject is so beautifully photographed and presented, it would be better to not have anything competing for attention.
