Leica-T OS

Does anybody knows who is the provider of the OS running in Leica T?

Is it Android, iOS (doubt it), custom made (unlikely)?

Maybe tweaking it will enable functions as basic editing, time lapse photography, etc...

I'm pretty sure it's custom made, in house.

You will go to your grave before you ever get access to that firmware or it becomes open source. It is not wholly owned by Leica.

Hi 'Cyrusthevirus'. Hope your nickname has nothing to do with your question.

It is definitely not Apple iOS and I also do not think it is Android. Android would bring too much of an overhead on performance (hardware) requirements for such a "simple" user interface.

Maybe it is something like Qt Embedded (Qt for Embedded Linux | Documentation | Qt Project)... but I even think this would be already much too heavy for the needed set of functionality.
