Printmaker Posted April 30, 2014 Share #1 Â Posted April 30, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) After using my new 21 SEM, I noticed a lot of oil on the sensor of my M9. No amount of cleaning (Artic Butterfly and VDust Plus) seems to remove the spots, though they now seem more like smears. I guess it is time to send the camera back to Leica for a thorough cleaning. I've had this M9 since new in 09. Never a problem more than a few specs of dust. The only thing that changed in my kit was the 21. Thanks though.
