Good move. I prefer film but regardless the lens will probably outlast any body you buy so good to get that right first.

Hi my wife calls me Mr indecisive I have made my mind up on the M9 but cant stop looking at the M6.Looks like you can get a cd when you get the film developed and contact,I think I have a problem thanks Dave.

Its a hard choice. They are such different beasts. Alternative is to get an M6 now and the M9 later when the prices have fallen more.

Hi just purchased a Summicron-M90 f/2 and I think I will go for the M7 hopefully within the next few weeks thanks Dave.

 

OK - I think I can see your wife's point...;)

At least you have a lens now. Pre-ASPH, I guess? Lovely lens: gentle up to f/4, then becomes very sharp.
