So to explore the countryside and forests is pleasant. Difficult light for exposures is most tricky because of the bright sky and much stray light.  Therefore I used a combination of filters. In this case graded ND filter + polarisation filter on  Canon 5D MKII with Elmarit R 28 mm   Welcome, dear visitor! It was an old meadow with many old trees like apple,pear, and cherry. Thanks for the hint. Â Stuart, I know that at NYC everything is sloe this year. But the pleasant season is certainly to come. Â Louis, thanks for your comment. The blue was in fact what I aimed at. I am happy you like it. Â Bill, thanks for mentioning the filter work. It need practic and experience . I bought several filters and these are my first serious results. It takes time and controlling the effect. These are slow shots. Â Dee, Hank, it is nice to have your positive response. It is much appreciated, thanks. Â Brent, thank you so much for your nice feedback. I just started with this combination and find it very effective. In pp it is giving you every freedom of adjusting contrasts. It is amazing how much the sensor then can take. In any case much more as if you have to grapple with a strong harsh light.
