Brenton C Posted March 16, 2014 Share #3 Posted March 16, 2014 Poor fellow has no idea he's nominated himself for the lovster pot: "Mr. Chan, I'll have this fellow right here please!"
pauledell Posted March 16, 2014 Share #4 Posted March 16, 2014 Brent, A stunning picture with the framing, tones and sharpness. And I'll bet he's going to be tasty for someone too. Paul
allamande Posted March 16, 2014 Share #5 Posted March 16, 2014 It's awful, isn't it? Somehow there is a feeling of foreboding, the way you've depicted him and the scene with those amazing dark tones. I can never look at those tanks and I can never eat these fellas. Ece
Iduna Posted March 16, 2014 Share #6 Posted March 16, 2014 Brent, an amazing portrait in every aspect: perspective, sharpness, toning. The central eyes are most stirring. I think as soon as one is having this sort of contact one cannot simply say : hello, I would like to have boiled and eat you. But reality is different, we all know it. fotografr Posted March 16, 2014 Author Share #8 Posted March 16, 2014 Thank you. I completely agree about the difficulty of looking at a live creature and thinking about eating it. But, as Iduna pointed out, the reality is different. I actually do like lobster quite a lot.
Northwest Wanderer Posted March 17, 2014 Share #9 Posted March 17, 2014 Good photo Brent. They have a strange eye but in your image it looks as if it is looking at the viewer.
