SBC Posted March 11, 2014 Share #1 Â Posted March 11, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) I broke down and bought a silver 35mm f2.0 asph used in perfect condition for $1900. It was built in 2001 from what I can tell, and will go on my m6. I bought it in a rush after years of convincing myself I didn't like 35mm focal length, and after telling myself that I did not want/need another lens. This will compliment my 50mm 1.4 asph. B-A-C Posted March 12, 2014 Share #3 Â Posted March 12, 2014 The price is right for one of the top 35s available. Enjoy it in good health.
Guest Ansel_Adams Posted March 12, 2014 Share #4 Â Posted March 12, 2014 Congrats. Great lens. I have the black version from 2011. Very nice handling and great images. I think the chrome one is slightly heavier than the black but is very nice looking!
Bill W Posted March 12, 2014 Share #5 Â Posted March 12, 2014 Enjoy, that seems like a great price. I have the silver version of the 50 cron. It is being coded right now.
peter_n Posted March 12, 2014 Share #6 Â Posted March 12, 2014 I've no idea of the price but I have a black paint 35 Summicron ASPH which has the same brass body. It's the best 35 I've ever used, and that includes my 35 Summilux ASPH and Pentax & Nikon 35s. Enjoy your new lens!
fotomas Posted March 14, 2014 Share #7 Â Posted March 14, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) I think/hope you did great. When I got my first camera, a Canon, I started with 50 mm. Then I got 28, 20, 50 macro, 85, 200, 100 macro and years later in the end 35 mm just to discover that this is my favorite focal length. Better I had done it the other way round. If I had to choose only one, it would be 35. Hope you will like to. Â f-)
