It will attack many types of plastic, so do take care with things like sunglasses and plastic parts on cameras. Fortunately Leicas do not have many plastic parts. Some synthetic rubbers will be affected too and Silicon rubbers ( Dive masks) will deteriorate over time. Rather unhealthy too if used on damaged skin. Mosiguard is a good alternative.
