Experts say that we need at least a dozen of these storm systems to bring the state's water reserves close to normal. This morning, the rain was coming down my window so hard, like a waterfall, smashing my purple sage against the glass...It was so wonderful to watch. We expect more tomorrow. Yes, mudslides are unfortunately part of this scene as wildfires routinely clear out vegetation necessary to hold things together. This is not a concern for where I live but some parts of Southern Cal are under mandatory evacuation orders since last night. I appreciate your good thoughts and feedback very much.
