It was April 2013 when we visited the Valley of Fire on our way back to Las Vegas. We reached there at 9:00 a.m which was just in time to wach the sun glowing on the rocks.

thanks a lot for liking the glow. You are right about those floods. I think it is particular a menace at the famous "Wave" during a thunderstorm..

yes, that orange was what we called "the glowing". It was not very easy to render it because hue was tto much when it came out as RAW - but I managed to handle it and developed a special preset for these pictures.
