May I ask you which hotel this was? What was the reaction at the front desk?

Yes, it was Grand Hotel. They've been helpful but are quite shocked!

Also my leather pouch for 21mm finder, and hood for Zeiss 21mm was stolen.

Oslo is a secure place, and The Grand Hotel is the best hotel in the town. It's too extraordinary.

You would think so... I'll tell more about it later, need to await for the police investigation at the moment. Please let me know if you see it.

I would see if the hotel is willing to at least file a report that will help your insurance claim. I am so sorry to hear of the loss. It's hard to travel, enjoy, yet have an extra level of paranoia to help you keep your own equipment.

A couple of things I do is keep the TV on, all the lights near window and door, draw curtains and even put a little garbage outside the door with the DnD sign to show activity.

Best of luck and I hope it turns up!
