thighslapper Posted February 2, 2014 Author Share #5  Posted February 2, 2014 this is the other image of the two I took...... on reflection this is technically better .... but doesn't emphasise the symbolism quite as much .......  ..... the flip up EVF is very handy for this sort of shot ...... virtually at ground level ..... and a real bonus that it works as well on both M240 and X-Vario.... platypus Posted February 2, 2014 Share #6 Â Posted February 2, 2014 These are both quite lovely. I always prefer landscape format, portrait seems cramped somehow, but I would have liked to see the tops of the crosses included in the frame of the second shot. Iduna Posted February 3, 2014 Share #8 Â Posted February 3, 2014 thanks, lovely and almost symbolic. Those little flowers are not impressed by cold and death.

janlu Posted February 8, 2014 Share #10 Â Posted February 8, 2014 Beautiful composition..... thoughtful and sensitive , i like best your first version ..... Â In my opinion the relation between the flowers and the cemetery crosses has more sense in the vertical orientation , given the uplifting characteristic of them and the mean of a new life growing up. Toshack10 Posted February 8, 2014 Share #11 Â Posted February 8, 2014 2nd seems clearer but I too prefer the tops of the headstones. Both lovely. Â Pushing up the snowdrops?
Brenton C Posted February 11, 2014 Share #12 Â Posted February 11, 2014 The OP is clearly making a theological point. ;-) Â Or am I projecting? Â Thought provoking juxtaposition.
