The minimoon

The full moon this week was dubbed the "minimoon" since it is currently at its farthest point of orbit away from Earth. I was snapping it with an old Canon FD 500mm f8 reflex with a 3x teleconverter on an NEX-6. Then I thought, I'm pretty sure I have a Canon to M adapter, why not shoot it with the M9 ... just to see what happens. I put a 135mm finder on the hot shoe to help line it up (although it still took quite a bit of adjusting). With the full frame sensor I could have theoretically stacked another 2x teleconverter on the lens, but I would have never found the moon since there's no live view.
