Hab' zwar keine S (leider :) ), aber bei max 500mA des USB2 dürfte das eher nicht der Fall sein.

 

Oder hat die Cam USB3? Dann wäre es zumindest möglich, wenn sie am USB3- Port des Rechners/HUB hängt.

 

Ansonsten einfach testen. S2 mit leerem Akku am USB über Nacht lassen und schauen.
