Most of the eagles at my local lake have left to continue on their winter migration. These two birds are enjoying the view from a favorite snag tree.

The eagle viewing season is about over for this winter. The eagle population at the lake reached a high of 219 plus on one day. It is down to 59 birds today. It won't be long and they will have all left for warmer areas. It was enjoyable seeing these great birds.

Paul, I just might have a shot or two left. Glad you find these images enjoyable.

 

Stuart, You should find it interesting that I used a V-Lux 4 for my eagle images. It was nice to not have to lug my heavy Nikon gear and still get decent images.
