shortstop Posted January 10, 2014 Share #1 Â Posted January 10, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello, I'm going to buy some E39 chrome filter for my summicron 50 model with retractable hood Does the old chrome E39 filter fit the summicron 50 f:2? Aren't there problems with the retractable lens hood of summicron? Does the filter scratch the hood? Thanks Antonio

UliWer Posted January 10, 2014 Share #2  Posted January 10, 2014 There is no problem with a filter and the hood: since the filter thread is much narrower than the hood-diameter, they won't touch each others:  Welcome, dear visitor!
