lct Posted January 4, 2014 Share #2  Posted January 4, 2014 This flange won't fit i'm afraid but the 40/2 works fine w/o coding. You'll have to file the flange out to bring up 35mm framelines. Not a big deal at all (How to modify a 40mm Summicron-C). There is no way of turning back though so make sure that you don't plan shooting a lot of closeups before using your dremel tool. Also i would not do it for either M8.2 or M240 bodies whose framelines are not set the same way as other Leica Ms. Welcome, dear visitor! jackstraw Posted January 4, 2014 Share #3 Â Posted January 4, 2014 Mine brings up 50 mm frame lines. I just think a little wider and fine tune in post. I love mine and it has become my lens of choice if I am going for a long walk. It weighs nothing.
