This eagle has shredded a small salmon to a point where it is not recognizable. The fish's head, tail and assorted parts have fallen to the ground.

Thank you Paul & Stuart.

 

Paul, there are so many spanned out salmon in the water that the birds find it very easy to catch a meal at their leisure. They eat well.

 

Stuart, I'll be trying for a few flight images I'd like to get. At present the eagle count stands at 129 birds vs 260 last year at this time. Seems another lake in this area is attracting birds do to an increase in its salmon population.
