I was able to walk right up and put my camera through the fence mesh and take this shot of a big bull who was about 4 feet from me. Some of the herd, including a young calf, were close enough to touch, but I didn't. If they behave like the other wild Bovines a herd will not be a problem if approached properly by an expert. It are the solitary bulls you must be wary of.
