platypus Posted December 17, 2013 Author Share #8 Posted December 17, 2013 Thanks Iduna, I continue to be fascinated by the discernible difference in character between the 35 Fle and the Nocti 0.95. After much soul searching I sold the Nocti to fund the purchase of the 35. The Nocti was wonderful, but I longed for a smaller, lighter lens and couldn't justify having both. It seems as if a Noctilux is extremely difficult to handle, as I can tell from hearsay, and a lens as that one may be ideal for portraits but will be difficult during daytime I suppose. When the lens first arrived I just screwed it straight onto the MM and have not removed it since. Personally I don't think that there could be a better lens for the MM (for shooting landscapes anyway) than that particular 50. Together they are a little mobile 4x5 outfit and no tripod needed!
