Karl G Posted December 16, 2013 Share #2 Â Posted December 16, 2013 Dee, one of my favorites as well, it would be the lens I'd keep if I had to only have one. Your picture is stunning in showing it's sharpness, color and broad field of view. Beautifully composed.
platypus Posted December 16, 2013 Author Share #3 Â Posted December 16, 2013 Thanks Karl, I'm really enjoying this lens after wrestling with the Noctilux 0.95 for so long. The difference in ease of use is a revelation.

Iduna Posted December 16, 2013 Share #7 Â Posted December 16, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) Dee, congratulations to have such a lens: the picture is showing all the lense's capacity of DOF and depth of color range. Keep going, every lens has its special character and a Lux needs every skill.
platypus Posted December 17, 2013 Author Share #8 Â Posted December 17, 2013 Thanks Iduna, I continue to be fascinated by the discernible difference in character between the 35 Fle and the Nocti 0.95. After much soul searching I sold the Nocti to fund the purchase of the 35. The Nocti was wonderful, but I longed for a smaller, lighter lens and couldn't justify having both. Thus far I like the look of the colour images I am getting from the 35 better than those from the Nocti.
Northwest Wanderer Posted December 17, 2013 Share #9 Â Posted December 17, 2013 Dee, Â Nice sharp image with tack on color. The timothy has a rich green color to it.
Iduna Posted December 17, 2013 Share #10 Â Posted December 17, 2013 Dee, I think you did right. It seems as if a Noctilux is extremely difficult to handle, as I can tell from hearsay, and a lens as that one may be ideal for portraits but will be difficult during daytime I suppose. platypus Posted December 23, 2013 Author Share #13  Posted December 23, 2013 dee have you used the 50 apo on the M9 much?  rebecca  Hi Rebecca,  Truth to tell I have never even put the APO 50 on the M9!! When the lens first arrived I just screwed it straight onto the MM and have not removed it since. Personally I don't think that there could be a better lens for the MM (for shooting landscapes anyway) than that particular 50. Together they are a little mobile 4x5 outfit and no tripod needed! I am completely besotted with them! BTW thanks for liking this colour shot of mine!
