Thanks for all the comments guys.

As for the processing, to be honest I was being lazy. I just ran each picture through Nik software HDR2 and picked the B&W Artist mode. I agree some of them look OTT but in a funky way they kind of show what life offshore is all about.

When things quiten down on the rig I will try and capture some more and spend a wee bitty longer on the PP

A couple of heavy lifts that we have to deal with all the time while offshore.

i too am on the fence about the PP.

however it seems like you have a vision that isnt quite there yet.

i encourage you to keep going!

Not sure where you want me to go as Its exactly the way I wanted to show it even though some of the PP is maybe OTT, but like I said before I wanted to show it in an artistic way not something right out of the camera................some like some don't. I like it:)

Neil, I hesitate to be critical, but such a rare and super technical subject doesn't need any additional artwork or whatever. I felt it just got in the way of perceptive viewing. Sorry!

No need for Sorry David, I have worked on Oil Rigs for 33 years, I just wanted to see it for myself in a different way .i.e. using and HDR process
