AndyMc Posted December 24, 2013 Author Share #25  Posted December 24, 2013 At the risk of stretching the original post to far I have a question about focus rings.  My 28mm elmarit asph has a lug on the focus ring.  I appreciate the summilux is an older lens however has anyone ever tried to modify the focus ring and attach a lug  Andy  Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
lct Posted December 24, 2013 Share #26 Â Posted December 24, 2013 With a focus tab you would feel that the focus throw is too long i'm afraid.
AndyMc Posted December 24, 2013 Author Share #27  Posted December 24, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) Ok I didnt thinknof that. It has worked flawlessly -- no slippage or coming off. The focus through on the summilux is a bit long, but I mainly use the tab to judge distance before even bringing the camera to my eye, so it's fine.
