Advertisement Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 Hi sisoje, Take a look here ZM 18mm on M240?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
algrove Posted November 6, 2013 Share #2 Â Posted November 6, 2013 No longer have mine from my M9 days, but back then used the 18/3.8 SEM 6 bit code. Worked very well.
Etruscello Posted November 7, 2013 Share #3 Â Posted November 7, 2013 Initially, I was disappointed with the performance of the ZM18 on the M 240 because of pronounced red edge. Then came the firmware update... No red edge! I did my subjective comparisons of the ZM18 with a Leica 21 mm. With both stopped down to f5.6/f 8, the ZM 18 had superior macro contrast and color saturation. The Leica 21 had superior micro contrast and that Leica-look aspect of better 3D shape molding. For landscapes, I prefer the ZM. For color-shift freedom on the M240, the ZM 18 must be coded as a Leica 21mm pre-Asph. I hope this feedback helps. Tom  Tom,  It's a great news if M240 with new firmware don't have color cast "issues" with ZM18! Anybody else found out the same?
