A just had the great pleasure of spending some days in The City; Roma. This time a had plenty of time for photography, so I really got to test my (allmost) new M.

The camera performed flawless, and I could not be more happy with handling and performance. On pos-p t I noticed the color saturation is really high, and I had to reduce in Lightrroom, but even then the colors seems quite "romantic". Others having the same experience, or just me not used to the "brick" colors?

Please see some photos. I would not call them "street", since I asked to photograph for many, and left my contact details:

And a self-portrait featuring the "Banana Jones" look :p:

Btw: I know its a long stretch, but I you recognize some in photos I would welcome a mail (although I have a few).

Sorry if this post is to far OT?

Edit: The photos were edited and uploaded quickly on the fly on a small ultrabook, so the post-processing might be so-and-so. Dont blame the M, blame me.

Beautiful.

It's been two years since I visited Roma. This series makes me desperate to return!

A year-and-a-half for me! I always feel drawn back to the Eternal City, and this series only makes the longing worse. Great images! the 35 is my go-to lens for walkabout shooting here in LA as well, though I would love to try it out in Rome. The last time I went we took a D800 and 24-70, which felt ridiculously heavy and obtrusive by comparison.
