Hi,

When I format my SD card in my M typ240 and start shooting, the 100LEICA folder that is created is dated 31 DEC 2047 12:00 AM... Never had this with my M9.

My camera-clock is working correctly. I'd like the newly created folder to have the date and time of creation (of shooting)... Anyone else experiences this? Something I missed in the manual and I can do to prevent folders being 'created' in 2047...?

Thanks!

Yup.

I pointed this out in Beta Testing of the new firmware.

No doubt it will be fixed eventually, but as there are no practical issues and no adverse consequences it will be low priority .....

Ah! Thanks for clarifying this... Hope it'll be fixed, yes. I use a card-reader and are used to copy the directory with the files in 1 go. After that I rename the directory. A correct date would be a little bit more convenient ;-)

OK, I give up. The SL2 camera does NOT want me to set date and time. I can change their format, but I can't set actual values from the camera. I've switched off the sync via Smartphone option. I can select individual year, month, and date. But no control I try (no dials or buttons) does anything to change their values.
Any ideas what is going on here??

I have had a very strange issue with my M10. I am on the latest firmware version 1.3.4.0

The date information is incorrect when imported into Lightroom CC. All of my photos show the exact same date and time. I have changed the date in the menu settings and it will change the date but will not advance it. I have also reset the camera several times with the same result.

For example if I set the date to 4/3/2017 10:00am all of the photos taken after that will show the same date and time. It will not advance.

I spoke with Leica USA Support and their advice was to only set the time and not the date and then go back in and set the date after and see if that works. Which it doesn't.

The camera functions great, no lockups and the photos look great.

I am hoping that I am missing something and someone out there can help.

      Hello everyone!

I'm new here, nice to meet you.

It's a little bit of a let down to see the M10 doesn't have a "real" BULB mode but it's limited to 125s.
      Similar to the Leica Q...

It's also weird that the time is ISO dependent.

I was wondering, why is that? The SL gets to 30min for example or the D810 can up to 1h30min and beyond i T mode.

      Thanks for your time,

      Tomas.

So, once again looking for some help in LUF; how to change folder in M? I only find the option to create new folder in menu. I want to keep all photos from one lens in same folder (for Cornerfix post). Since its not possible to create user profiles for lenses this is my short-fix.

      Anyone got a clue?

Best wishes for the new year!

The time of my M9 camera is set correctly, but time in the EXIF data is incorrectly. (7 hours earlier)
does anyone know how this is possible?
      thanks Peter
