M240 Folder Creation Date

Hi,

 

When I format my SD card in my M typ240 and start shooting, the 100LEICA folder that is created is dated 31 DEC 2047 12:00 AM... Never had this with my M9.

My camera-clock is working correctly. I'd like the newly created folder to have the date and time of creation (of shooting)... Anyone else experiences this? Something I missed in the manual and I can do to prevent folders being 'created' in 2047...?

Yup.

 

I pointed this out in Beta Testing of the new firmware.

 

No doubt it will be fixed eventually, but as there are no practical issues and no adverse consequences it will be low priority .....

Ah! Thanks for clarifying this... Hope it'll be fixed, yes. I use a card-reader and are used to copy the directory with the files in 1 go. After that I rename the directory. A correct date would be a little bit more convenient ;-)
