Lynn GT Posted October 27, 2013 Author Share #4 Posted October 27, 2013 Thank you, I very much appreciate your comments Although I've been taking photographs for many years, I'd fallen out of love with it recently for several reasons. I struggled to get the pictures I wanted with the cameras I had and also, being married to someone I consider to be a very good photographer, I began to wonder what the point was for me!! Anyway, about 3 months ago, David treated me to a D-Lux 6 (which I have to admit scared me silly to begin with, the most sophisticated camera I had owned before was an Olympus Mu!) But, as I've started to learn more about how to use it and get the most from it, my love of photography is returning and I'm trying out all sorts of things I never have before. I see different things to David and I see things differently, so of course there's a point! I guess what I'm trying to say is I love my D-Lux 6 and receiving comments (and constructive criticism) here is really driving my enthusiasm

Enjoy your photography and never feel intimidated by your gear nor others photography. I've found taking an image using new settings is interesting if you also shoot the same image using auto. It's a good way to compare results. Most of all, enjoy yourself.
