Did some exploring today (much of the inside of the Hagia Sofia is a hideous building site) and are currently waiting for our dinner, enjoying an excellent view over the Bosporus. Tomorrow we won't be able to make it at 7pm to the H S either, but we look forward to meeting you all on Saturday. Turns out the main entrance is on the other side. Someone from the group will be there anyway to collect those that go that side. As a side remark, the advice to head to the airport in time applies as well here, especially, since there is an additional security control at the entrance of the airport building. Just got out of Fatwick At Istanbul Ataturk we had two X-ray scans and a hand search of my carry on bag at the gate.
