sunflowers after blossoming

Advertisement (gone after registration)

there was a long strip at the roadside but I discovered they were past blossoming. Sunlight was too low to light their heads. So I used a flash being bounced against a reflector and tried imitate the sunlight. The flashlight was only at low power and only intended as a supportive light for the reflected sunlight.

 

all with Canon 5D MKII, Elmarit R 60mm macro+Leica Apo 2x converter

since we don't have such great big landscape for interesting shots, one has to concentrate on the things around you. Sometimes these things are a landscape in small dimensions.
