K-H, this is a most enchanting photo!

Just a few nights ago, while watching but not watching TV.....yet another re-run of Billy Connolly tootling down Route 66 on his big trike....I chanced to hear him say that the State of New Mexico styles it's-self "The Land of Enchantment".

Hah! I thought, now where have I seen that before?! Never say you don't learn something every day. :)

Thanks everybody for the feedback.

Dee, that particular phrase is printed on every license plate here. And correctly so IMHO. :)

Many years ago I was driving from ABQ to Santa Fe after it had snowed just a little during the night.

That dusting of snow melting/evaporating in the early morning sun looked enchanting to me.

I didn't have a camera back then to capture the scene, but that impression is still in front of my mental eyes.

K-H, I know exactly what you mean regarding those camera-less, deeply embedded mental images.

I think we all have a few, or more than a few of those, and maybe they are the best photos that we will ever see!
