A different stump than the first image on the last page and with a different lens. The mozzie plague is particularly bad this year, they almost sucked me dry while I was taking this photo.

Nice shot.  Quite beautiful craftsmanship, but I always wonder what the tree thinks when we carve it up to look like something it isn't.  I get the same thought about people who dress their dogs like people. Oh, too much thinking.

Thank you. You are right, but in this particular case, the tree you see on the photo is about 350 year old, and he doesn't look unhappy 🙂

At that age, I wouldn’t be happy either!  Also, just think of all those  poor people who should take care of a so old fart!
