Xexets Posted September 16, 2013 Share #1 Â Posted September 16, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello! I hope this is the correct forum where to ask this question, I could not find anything more suitable. Â I just got myself a Zeiss 35mm f2 Biogon for my Leica M3, which I have to say drained my finances quite a bit. Â Of course now I would need a 35mm viewfinder / goggles to actually be able to compose with this lens! Â Do you have any advice? For the time being at least I would need to go cheap, as in as cheap as you can conceive. Â I read that the M3 field of view beyond the 50mm lines is actually 40mm, so I might start trying to compose without a viewfinder, but I would prefer to have one (or the goggles, if that's an advisable/viable option). Â Many thanks for your help!

lct Posted September 16, 2013 Share #2 Â Posted September 16, 2013 You just need a 35mm viewfinder.
earleygallery Posted September 16, 2013 Share #3 Â Posted September 16, 2013 Goggles only fit the specific Leica lenses made for their use. Â Any 35mm shoe mounted finder will work. If funds are really tight look for a Russian Helios viewfinder on ebay.
Xexets Posted September 16, 2013 Author Share #4 Â Posted September 16, 2013 Cheers! I think I will go for the Helios for the time being, and will upgrade in the future if it does not work for me, thanks!
