pauledell Posted September 13, 2013 Share #4 Posted September 13, 2013 Marc, Lovely, restful shot. I would have cropped the bottom of the picture to just below the reflection of the birds in the water and made a panorama with the lower horizon. Just an idea. marc_dufour Posted September 13, 2013 Author Share #5 Posted September 13, 2013 Iduna, Karl, Thanks a lot for so kind appreciations! The scene only could inspire peace feelings. Paul, The first impulse was to crop as you wrote, and even in the moment to take the picture. But I finally decided to preserve the whole frame, thinking the large white foreground helps to transmit the feeling of ethereal weightlessness. Thank you so much. Lee Martin Posted September 15, 2013 Share #12 Posted September 15, 2013 I really like it, it's simple but captivating at the same time. It reminded me of Andreas Gursky's picture the Rhine, which to date is the most expensive photograph ever sold at £2.7 million. I think you should have this printed at a top lab and see what it's capable of. You never know Why is Andreas Gursky's Rhine II the most expensive photograph? - Telegraph Good luck
